GOC Welcomes its 15th President - Dr. Marie Plante

The Society of Gynecologic Oncologists of Canada is very pleased to introduce you to Dr. Marie Plante, the Society’s 15^th President.

Dr. Marie Plante is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Laval University. She is Chief of the Gynecologic Oncology Division at Laval University, Fellowship Program Director and in charge of the clinical research in gynecologic oncology at l’Hôtel-Dieu de Québec. Dr. Plante’s major interest is minimally invasive surgical approaches in the treatment of gynecologic cancers and in fertility-preserving surgery for young women with cervical cancer. Dr. Plante is internationally renowned for her research interest in MIS.
