NESP-9980291 (Novel Erythropoiesis Stimulating Protein)

Who:Treatment of anemia inpatients with solid tumors receiving multicycle chemotherapy.
What:Is a novel glycoprotein that stimulates erythropoiesis by the same mechanism as endogenous EPO subcutaneous injection of NESP once every 3 weeks (dosage determined by pt.'s wght) To be given on the same day of the week 3wks, and not to be delayed even if chemo is.
