December 19, 2011 ~ The Allen-Carey Board and the London Health Sciences Foundation are pleased to announce the Allen-Carey Education Award for 2012.  The Allen-Carey Education Award supports specialized physician training in Women’s Health for individuals who seek unique training experiences not otherwise funded.  One of the goals of the award is to foster leadership development in talented individuals who seek to improve our health care system, through advancements in the field of Women’s Health.  Training awards are usually of one year’s duration.  Application materials and information for applicants are available through the London Health Sciences Foundation website (http://www.lhsf.ca/hospital-priorities/current-fundraising-projects/women%27s-health-services/allen-carey-award).  Forty thousand dollars will be awarded this year from the Allen-Carey Fund to the successful candidate.  The application deadline is February 1^st, 2012.
