GOC International Health Elective

The Society of Gynecologic Oncology of Canada is very proud to have funded 4 physicians from low and medium resource countries for a 2-week observership in a Canadian Cancer Centre. 

Congratulations to:
Dr. Orango Omenge of Kenya who came to Toronto for an observership in May 2008
Dr. Victorino Garcia of the Philippines who came to Vancouver for an observership in May 2010
Dr. Pierre Marie Tebeu from Benin who came to Montreal for an observership in April 2011
Dr. Anthony Okoth of Uganda who will be coming to Vancouver in December 2012

The GOC is now discontinuing its International Visitor Program and as a demonstration of our commitment to international women's health we are working on developing a new program which we hope to announce in the coming months.
